Mark's Story

Mark Erdody is a married father of 4 young men and a recent Cancer survivor and a firm believer in miracles. 

Mark has been on his Healing  Journey since July 10, 1988.  That night he had a profound spiritual  experience. While taking what would be his last puff of marijuana, he  suffered an extreme physical and emotional response.  His whole body  tingled and he was covered in goose bumps and a voice entered his head  and the voice said you are going to die if you keep on this path. Then  the voice asked him if he wanted to die and miraculously, he wrote NO on  a blank notebook and circled it hundreds of times.  Somehow, he calmed  down and fell asleep and when he awoke the next day, there was the  notebook staring at him with NO and a hundred circles around.  Mark  hasn’t had a drink or drug since that night.

Mark was a Vice President in the insurance industry for 30 years.  He left corporate world in the middle of the pandemic and started the  non-profit Healing and Wellness for Everyone.  Its mission is to help  provide affordable holistic healthcare. In November of 2023 Mark was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  He underwent 6 months of Chemotherapy treatment and finished his last treatment in June of 2024.  Mark credits his family and community for carrying him through this difficult time. His last PET Scan indicated that Mark is Cancer free.   

Mark is in the process of  completing his first book “Empathy Unleashed – Nurturing the Healing  Spirit In Human Services”  and he is the Host of a Podcast called Healer  Discussions where he spotlights Holistic Healers who tell their story,  their gifts and offerings.   Mark is an Ordained Minister In the Universal Life Church where he believes in Love, Kindness and Forgiveness. Mark does public speaking on the topics of  Recovery, Self-Care and Shining your Light.

Mark  is a certified Reiki Master and specializes in a treatment he calls a  Positivity Soul Infusion. This is a unique fusion of Mindful Meditation,  Breathe Work, Spiritual Connection, Powerful Positive Affirmations with  Sound Bath and Reiki. The treatment is meant to lift your spirits and  rejuvenate your soul by connecting you to your higher self and bringing  in the love and support of your Ancestors, Angels and Guides.
